From Melanie Lunaire @ 09/07/2007 4:19pm

Hello Alan,

I just wanted to thank you very much for all that you have done to make this a wonderful experience. eBay doesn't allow enough room in the feedback to sufficiently let me say how pleased and thankful of your hard work with me to correct the transaction.

Let me say that just saying I deeply appreciate this doesn't do justice to your consideration and work ethic. You are truly a rare seller who really really cares about the seller and I can not express my gratitude. It would have been easy for you to just ignore my request, but you went out of your way and above the call of duty to help.

Thank you so very much.
We received the new coins and they are really amazing. I've never really seen old coins in person before but these are really interesting and detailed. I look forward to when they are finished in their cleaning cycle.

I also will be a returning customer in the future. It is rare to find such a considerate seller anymore and those I do find who are win my patronage.

Again, thank you very much and have a wonderful weekend.

Melanie

Thanks so much!  I've already had a blast tumbling the sapphires I bought from you earlier.  I'm still quite happy with them.  I bought them to tumble for putting into a fountain I have (it's kind of nice to have a good bit of color variation for that).  Looks like there are some really nice ones (sapphires) in the mixed lot that I got from you though, nice color even before they've been tumbled. The best thing about using them for the fountain are the looks you get when people ask what's in it and you tell them "oh, nothing much...just some sapphires, emeralds, rubies, amethyst..."   Great fun.  :)

I bought a bag of emeralds from you about 2 wks. ago. I had rubies, garnets, emeralds, sapphires, citrines, topaz and quartz from a vacation trip to Gatlinburg. I bought a bedtray, let my grandchildren sprinkle jewels and a little golddust in it and filled it with clear casting resin. Absolutely FUN!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL !!! I just wanted you to see what my family did with the emeralds. Thanks again for a great Ebay purchase and for alot of fun with my  family!

From Alisa Canter @ 01/31/2007 8:23am

Hello Alan,

Wow, I guess I really didn’t know what to expect when the stones started to reveal themselves.  All but maybe two or three are Stars.  I had never seen those before and didn’t know what I was looking at.  Anyway, I also think I have one white Sapphire if there is such.  But it was the only stone in the bunch that was not dark and all the rest have turned out to be exactly what they were supposed to.  Sorry I ever doubted you.

Now here is my problem.  It has taken so long to get the stones finished that I have lost the link to leave feedback do you have any ideas on how I can fix this as I would like to leave a very nice feedback for you.

OBTW, thank you for the stones!  It has been rather exciting to watch them emerge from the dirt.

Alisa

I just left feedback on ebay, but there wasn't enouogh room to say
thank you well enough. You've made spring break! The TV is off and the
kids all have their noses in a book trying to figure out what you sent!
They've each picked their favorite treasure except for the five year
old who can't narrow his favorite to just one!  :)

Thank you again,

From Shelly Wiltshire @ 07/15/2005 5:23pm

Just wanted to tell you that, when my daughter lost a sapphire ( one that i'd bought from you in the bags of sapphires), my friend found it and returned it to me, also the other three bags i bought from you contained a 53ct white sapphire. Your sales are amazing!!! The sapphire that was returned to me by my friend was a 134ct blue sapphire ( nearly a whole barrel except for the cut in a ' v ' shape that is approx 4-5ct missing) But WOW!!! how lucky i am to have such a whopping 134cts! Not bad colour of blue either!!!....I can't do any skips! but here it is: WOW!!!!! YIPPEE!!!! AWESOME!!!!!! B**ooM** AWESOME!!!!!! BRILLIANT!!!!! I'll be buying again from you soon, i'm already a repeat buyer & will repeat & repeat!!! IF you want any awesome testimonies let me know i'd be happy to oblige ( the ordinary feedback doesn't allow to many words to express....It's better to have a testimony from the messages, you can fit more in & get the message accross). BRILLIANT! WOW! AWESOME! BARGAIN!

Follow-up email @ 7:14pm

The testimony is well deserved, you deserve much more, of course i'm happy i am so over the moon ! Yes use the message & keep it back as a testimonial, if i can do anymore to validate you as a terrific genuine seller let me know. Infact a my friend is a silversmith, jeweller & chairman of the UK Facet Cutters Guild, he has more than 30 years experience, he said it was not a bad colour of sapphire too ( i knew it was sapphire myself...but he also confirmed it, but he thought that it probably came from the far east) I don't care where it comes from, i couldn't have done better if i'd found a gold mine! I've listed you as my favourite seller! Your the top one..1st ! & the best!
Thanks so much Alan
Your a real gem!

Dear atgoodman,

I just wanted to let you know that I have recieved my rubies and emeralds and I am very pleased with them! I have only washed them off with soap and water and have already found some good, possibly facetable stones! I have a rock tumbler on its way to me and can't wait to get them polished up. I have left positive feedback for you and will most likely purchase more from you! Thank you for this great deal and I wish you and your family health and happiness!

Thank you,
edro268

From Eric Macuski @ 08/21/2002 5:50pm

WOW!!!  I just love the Roman coins you sent!  At least three as good
detail, and actually i think two are of when Egypt and Rome joined, and the
other might have a picture of Cleopatra, or some female leader, on it.  I
did a little scratch test as well...3 silver and 1 gold!!!!  I think some
jewelry cleaner may work with those precious metals.  I know it wouldn't
work on bronze!

Thank you so much!  You just upped my collection!

From Jake & Shari Angelo @ 04-19-2002 5:25pm

Alan,

My wife and I were most surprised when we opened out two bags of material. Our first impression was "we should have purchased six bags".   This was a grand experience. Being new rock hounds we know the toil that goes into picking a bag of this material out of the rough if you were able to find this much in one place.

Your material is grander than we expected.   We have purchased several such bags and they have been "ho hum".  Your product is "wow wee".

Thanks, and look for us to purchase more.  I will go to the ebay site and offer my favorable rating of your service.

Thanks for a great evening..we can't wait till morning (we like to search in the sunlight),

From Grillz @ 04/16/2002 6:26am

I've collected and traded for 40+ years, and would like to share with
you two first finds in the 50 coins I received. One , copper,  about the
size of a nickle, is about 50% covered with what appears to be silver
plating.  Possible counterfeiting?? The other depicts Romulus and Remus
suckling a she wolf; a scene I have only seen depicted in books, or as a
drawing in a museum. I was hoping to find one gold piece, but these are
far better.
  Thanks again,  Grillz

From Judy Litton @ 09/06/2000 8:37pm

Hi,

I bought 20 of your uncleaned coins.  I was kind of sceptical about finding
anything exciting, but I had wanted to get some of these for quite some time.
My husband and I are still cleaning them, but as of right now we have found
at least 4 extremely interesting coins.  One of them is about the size of a
half dollar.  I took it to work with me to show people and we thought it
might be a base metal coated to look like gold.  By last night we knew we had
something big.  First the names of Antony and Cleopatra began to emerge.
Finally, we realized that we had a gold coin with the portrait of Cleopatra
on the obverse and the goddess Ceres on the reverse.  Oh yah!  At least three of the other coins are gold, one on them is from Constantinople.
What a treasure hunt.  And what an initiation to the hobby.

Thanks,
Judy Litton

From Aaron Alanen @ 07/22/2000 10:10pm

atgoodman,

I don't know if I can leave another positive feedback, I sure hope I can, or, I will on my next purchase (20 coins). I have a very fine bronze Procopius from this purchase.  The detail on mine is much better than the example on this page I'm including but my coin is just slightly off center, lessening the value slightly, as many hammered coins are from this era.  (mine is much more symmetrical though!)

I'm quite happy with mine, thank you, its a very, very pretty coin with extremely terrific detail (you should see his beard!) and really has my interest up in collecting coins.  I never dreamed I'd get passionate about it, and this is a start.  I realize these types of coins aren't always the best quality, coming from the ground after almost 2000 years, but are really quite fun to clean and research!  I will be giving the next batch of 20 coins to my young nephews, they will get a kick out of them, and hopefully an interest that will allow them to learn some real history.  I'll buy more just for the anticipation of another great find!

Take care,

Aaron Alanen

P.S. please feel free to use this as an auction feedback in any way you can.  I am quite happy with my 10 coins - thank you very much!  My Procopius coin might be worth over $100 or more!  ;)  I've seen examples out on the web for over $200.00 and as much as $350.00!  This is a nice, rare and interesting coin!

From rmon @ 6/4/2000 6:18 AM

I have been so satisfied with the bag of 20 roman coins which you had
sent me.  I discovered 2 silver coins, (one slug, one very legible).  It
was great fun in cleaning and researching these coins.  I hope to do
this again with you.   sincerely rmon
